About Us

Farnsworth Gallery was formerly known as The Gallery on Lafayette in Trenton, New Jersey. Now located at 134 Farnsworth Avenue in Old Historic Bordentown. City, the gallery is a beautiful show room for the work of more than 26 artists. Paintings, sculpture, ceramics and photographs adorn the walls of this century old building. While most of the artists are local, they enjoy national and international acclaim.

Open Wednesday through Sunday, 12:00 to 7:00 and Friday evening until 9:00, the salon style atmosphere encourages artists and art lovers to stop by for lively and diverse conversation.. The third Friday of each month, open house in the style of an art opening takes place from 5:30 to 9:00. Tom Chiola sings cabaret style and is accompanied on the keyboard by Mary Middlestadt.. Salon regulars often stroll in with a bottle of wine or hors d’oeuvres to be shared by all. The conversation lingers into the night and the lights go out when the last one leaves.
